Brandt and Katherine’s story started in January 2020 when they met on Tinder. Katherine wasn’t sure about meeting someone online, but after a few FaceTime calls, Brandt’s humor and easygoing nature won her over.

Their first date was relaxed and fun. Brandt mentioned he needed clothes while on winter break, so they decided to go shopping. They didn’t end up buying anything, but they spent hours talking over Chick-fil-A instead. That day set the stage for a relationship built on good conversation and laughter.

Early on, they bonded over their shared love of the outdoors, spending time hiking, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Not long after they started dating, the pandemic hit. It wasn’t an easy time, but facing those challenges together helped them grow closer and build a solid foundation.
